History of Steinbeck Vineyards
Cindy's dad, Howie Steinbeck, whose great grandparents (The Ernst family) began farming wine grapes and making wine in 1884 in Geneseo, California. Howie continues that tradition by delivering premium wine grapes to wineries across California. His track record over the past 25 years proves his skill and passion. Cindy and Tim Newkirk have worked in the family business since 1997. Their son Ryan Newkirk, a sixth generation Paso Robles farmer, has recently joined the family team and plans to continue our farming tradition.
